What is Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPM)?
Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPM) is an aesthetic treatment where an experienced technician uses long-lasting pigment to provide you with a permanent natural makeup appearance that perfectly complements your skin tone and enhances your natural features.
Why choose SPM?
SPM is revolutionising the way we wear makeup.
Long-lasting results – with the effects of the pigments used, it lasts an average of 2 years. You also don’t have to spend time and money going to a salon for treatments and saves money on makeup products.
Painless and Effective – treatments are virtually painless. It is an effective way to enhance your look without the hassle of applying makeup daily.
Creating Confidence – SPM is an ideal solution for clients experiencing hair loss. It also helps create a more youthful appearance.
Natural Looking Results – Using superior skill and artistry, all SPM looks completely natural.
How long does treatment take?
We recommend you allow up to 2 hours for your first procedure. If you intend to have more than one treatment at the same appointment, then please allow up to 5 hours.
How long does it last?
Semi-Permanent Make-up should last for several years. It is ‘permanent’ but will fade over time depending on things like sun exposure and genetics. We suggest that you come back for a retouch procedure every 18 months to 2 years to keep your look complete and fresh.
Does It Hurt?
In the first instance, every client has to take a patch test to ensure there will not be any allergic reactions. We then use a topical anaesthetic cream before the procedure to numb the area and will not continue with the procedure until you feel comfortable. Our micro pigmentation needles are specifically designed to minimise any discomfort.
Everyone has a different pain threshold; some clients feel no discomfort at all, whereas others may feel minimal discomfort. Clients say that having a procedure is similar to having their eyebrows plucked. Once the treatment is complete, we advise you on the best aftercare to ensure any soreness is kept to a minimum.
What about Aftercare?
You will be given a comprehensive aftercare guide following your treatment, along with verbal instructions from your experienced practitioner. It includes an aftercare cream and a list of dos and don’ts to ensure maximum long-lasting and quick healing results.
Is it expensive?
SPM is fairly inexpensive when you compare it with the years it will last you. It also saves your precious time from applying makeup daily as well as not running, smudging or washing off. Using a high-end professional artist ensures that the quality of work, attention to detail, skill and the utmost confidence when undergoing any procedure.
A retouch procedure is half the price of your original treatment.
